How to Create Anchor Points

Did you know it's possible to set anchors in some Tastics so your users can jump from one point to another on a Page? You can! Well, depending on the Tastic configuration you can.

Every Tastic has an anchor ID in the General section of the Configuration panel, for example:

You can use this ID in another Tastic to then be able to link to it. Please note, that if you don't have a link within your Tastic configuration or you don't want to use Markdown, this won't work.

So how do you do it? Let's go through it step by step.

1
Go to the Page you want to add your Anchor point to and open the Editor

2
Select the Tastic that you want to jump to and find the Anchor ID in the General section and copy this number

3
Click the Tastic that you want to jump from, in this example we're using a Tile Tastic so we'll go to the Call to Action section, select the type as Link then paste in the Anchor ID from step 2

Preview your Page to make sure it's all working correctly, then save and you're all done!

If you want to add the Anchor point to some text within a Markdown Tastic, you can use the Anchor ID like you would a hyperlink, for example:
