In the studio, you can collaborate by posting comments, tagging users in comments, and assigning users to review your work.
A notification is a message that displays inside the studio when there are updates in a discussion you're following, such as a reply to your comment, someone mentions you in a comment, or assigns you to review a page version.
To open the notification pane, click the Notification icon in the top menu bar. When you receive a notification, a number appears on the icon, which indicates the amount of unread notifications.
When you click an individual notification in the notification pane, it will be marked as read. To dismiss all notifications, click Mark all as read.
The comment feature lets you create a discussion about a particular page version, page template, or component group, and is available in the following areas:
Comments are stored for 90 days.
To open the comment pane to view comments, click the comment icon in the top menu bar. To add a comment, type your text into the comment box and click Post comment.
Hold your pointer over the comment to edit or delete your comment and click Edit or Delete.
To mention a user in a comment, type the
@ symbol in the comment box to load a list of users, then select one. Once you post your comment, the mentioned user will receive a notification.
You'll automatically be notified if someone replies when you post a comment. To turn on or off comment notifications, click the Receive notifications toggle inside the comment pane.
You can assign other users to review a specific page version in the following areas:
To request a review inside the page builder:
- Click the drop-down arrow on the Save button.
- Select Save and assign for review to open the Assign for review dialog.
- Click Users and select a user from the list.
- Add a comment (optional).
- Click Assign.
When you assign someone to review your page, they receive a notification in the studio and an email informing them of the review assignment. At this point, the page is locked, and no changes are allowed until the assignee reviews the page or the assignment is removed.
When a user assigns you to review a page version, you'll receive a notification in the studio and an email letting you know. Click the link inside the notification or email to open the page version to be reviewed. You can then review the changes and leave additional feedback if needed.
To finish the review, click Mark as reviewed on the top menu bar.

The user who created the review assignment also has the option to remove the assignment. To remove a review assignment for a page version, open the comment pane inside the page builder, then click Remove assignment.
