Frontastic component editor settings

Aside from the General settings that we mentioned in the Using the page editor article, the settings will differ on each Frontastic component. It depends on what has been added to a schema of the component and what's been set as editable.

The best way to understand how each setting works without looking into the code is to open a page within the staging environment and open the Preview, then you can watch how it affects the site as you make each setting change.

Button

You can change the text that appears on your button (also known as call to action) as well as where the button takes the user.

Content

There are 2 types of Content setting, 1 is where you can add Markdown (see the using the markdown editor article for more information) and where it's aligned on your page, and the other is what is displayed on a log in page.

Other

As we mentioned at the beginning of this article, these settings are entirely configurable and are unique to your project. Talk with your development team about updating names, adding new settings, anything is possible in this section.
